The Heart of St. Jude School

St. Jude School is the largest ministry of St. Jude Parish.

Guided by God, St. Jude School strives to provide academic excellence in an environment that embraces the Catholic values of spirituality and service.

Our Story Began....

"We are St. Jude!"

St. Jude School celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2010.  From humble beginnings above a drug store in Red Bank and with the sacrifice and determination of young families came the founding of St. Jude School in 1960. The school’s cafeteria served as the parish church until the construction of the present church building was completed.

Initial enrollment was 179 students. Today, enrollment in grades Pre-Kindergarten through Eighth grade is almost 400 students.  The majority of St. Jude students  live in the Hixson, Soddy-Daisy, Signal Mountain, Highway 58/Harrison and North Chattanooga communities, though several have come from Cleveland, Rhea County and Jasper.
