MON.              Baked lasagna, Italian breadsticks, spinach, fruit, milk.  SALAD BAR

TUES.             Chicken nuggets, rice, green beans, dessert, roll, milk.  

WED.              Pork chop, mashed potatoes, broccoli, roll, dessert, milk.  SALAD BAR.    

THURS.          Grilled cheese sandwich, soup, fruit, milk.  

FRI.                 Potato Bar w/ meat sauce, vegetables, fruit, milk.   SALAD BAR

BEGINNING OF THE YEAR REMINDERS  Please make sure that parents and children get in the car and wait for teacher to wave you out at the end of the day.  It gets way too chaotic for the kids to run around while waiting to be waved out.  

RENWEB  Please take some time to get acquainted with Renweb (ParentsWeb) – it is a wonderful tool for parents and students!  Many forms are available under “Resource Documents” and changes can be made using “Web Forms”.  Grades, homework, and more can all be found here, as well as easy access to your FACTS financial links.  If you need any help at all, feel free to contact Linda Starry in the office.

ATHLETICS  St. Jude Athletics have begun!  Practices have begun for cross country and tennis, and Catholic Football is in full swing, with their next game on Sept. 5 at OLPH vs. Boyd at 6 pm.

JOCKEYS AND JULEPS 2020  Earn PIP hours!!!! We are looking for parent volunteers to join the Jockeys and Juleps team. Our kick off meeting will be held August 22nd @ 5:30 pm at St. Jude School in the library. We have many opportunities with different time commitments: (Class Art Project Coordinator, Silent Auction Hunter, Class Baskets, social liaison and many more).  If you have questions or would like to join the team please contact: Kathie Preston @ prestonk@mysjs.com

ALTAR SOCIETY INVITATION  Would you like live your faith through service in our Altar Society. Contact Mona Bombassi, mona.bombassi@mutualofomaha.com, if you can give 2 -4 hours about once every six weeks to help clean our church - used by our students each week. Service to the Altar Society provides double PIP hours.

DIOCESAN  YOUTH MASS AND FAMILY FEST  Everyone is welcome on SUNDAY, Sept. 15, 12 – 5 pm at St. Albert the Great Parish.  Mass, Buddy’s BBQ, live band, games, prizes from Catholic Companies, and more!  The Paraclete Bookstore will also be onsite!  The cost is $20 for individuals or $50 for a family.  T-shirts will be available for $10.   Forms and registration are available online at dioknox.org and bparsons@dioknox.org.
