Good morning, St. Jude.  Today is the twentieth day of September.    Fall officially begins on Saturday at 9:54 P.M. so enjoy these last days of summer.

Happy birthday to ANOTHER of our favorite fourth graders. Madison Taylor, it’s your day.  Hope everybody treats you like a princess.

Today, the church honors one hundred and THREE saints who gave up their lives to bring Jesus’ words to the people of Korea, and if we could properly pronounce all of their names, we would.   These brave Catholics spread love and faith, despite the threat of death.  Their courage and commitment reminds us that not only are people of America and Korea loved by God, people everywhere are created in His image.

So, what’s for lunch today?  BBQ chicken, mashed potatoes, greens, and an award winning  dessert.  Thank you Mrs. Mary Louise!

Today’s  weather is going to be hot, hot, hot… with a high of 93.  The sun should be out most of the day, without a cloud in sight.

Congrats to the boys tennis team  - Trevor Brandenburg, Carlos Gomez, Alec Bouchard, Patrick Osborne and Isaias Bement - who crushed OLPH yesterday! Girls, you were awesome too!

Good luck to our football team as they prepare to play Lookout Valley! Go, Saints!

Today our Student Council officer candidates are making their campaign speeches. Good Luck!

Congratulations to Henry Berg, Isaias Bement and Daniel Stevens for achieving 100% on keyboarding this week.

Today’s quote for the day:  Sometimes, my plans fail; but God always gives me better options.

Yesterday’s trivia,  “Who is the highest saint in the Catholic Church,”   was correctly answered by  Ryan in Mrs. Berg's third grade, who answered MARY. Come collect your prize!

Our special guest today, leading us in the Pledge of Allegiance, is Kara in Mrs. Cardwell's 4th grade class.

Holy Spirit, Help Me Today In Everything I Think And Do And Say. St. Jude Pray For Us.
