Good morning, St. Jude!   It’s Thursday, March 14, and it’s almost spring break, AND it’s National Pi Day!   Make today a good day out there.

 

The season of Lent is a time to remember that self-sacrifice is part of what brings us joy.  That doesn’t have to be big and huge. Sometimes, it can be as simple as allowing your friend to finish up what he’s saying before you interrupt with your own story.  Have you taken a moment to say Good Morning, God, and to ask for help in letting others be important, too?

Happy birthday to Mariana Veracruz in 6th grade.    Hope your birthday is wonderful, Mariana!

Good luck to our volleyball team as they take on Collegedale today after school.  Go, Saints!

It’s taco Thursday in the St. Jude Cafe!  How cool is that?

Today’s weather will be a bit cloudy with a chance of thunderstorms after school The temperature will climb up to 71.

And now for our quote of the day, from Saint Francis:  A single sunbeam is enough to drive away the shadows.

On this ninth day of Lent,  let’s all remember to share the love of Christ by taking good care of each other.
