All tuition figures are annual, based on payments over 10 months, beginning in July and concluding in April.

Three Children - $18,000
**Parish families with 3 or more children at St. Jude School will receive an additional credit
so that tuition does not exceed $18,000.

Incoming Students - due 2 weeks following receipt of acceptance to St. Jude School or April 1, whichever is sooner; Returning Students – April 1.

Tuition Assistance for Grades K - 8
It is our sincere desire that all who want to receive the benefit of Catholic education for their children are able to do so.
St. Jude School awards tuition assistance using a needs-based evaluation (FACTS Grant & Aid online application) for Catholic families who could not otherwise afford to attend. Families are required to apply each school year and submit the required tax documentation by the deadline in order to be considered for tuition assistance. There is a $40 application fee due at the time of application submission. Catholic families must submit a completed Parish Affiliation Form signed by their pastor, BEFORE they apply for tuition assistance.

1. If you have applied for FACTS Grant & Aid in previous years, please enter your existing username and password and click "Sign In". If you are a new FACTS Grant & Aid applicant, please select "Create a username & password".
2. Then select the "Start Application" button.
3. Select the term you are applying for aid.
4. Complete the steps as prompted and upload 2023 Federal Tax Return & 2023 W2s.
The online application takes approximately 25 minutes to complete. A personal tuition assistance interview is required for all applicants. Once you have completed the application and uploaded the required tax documentation, please contact Christina Bello at (423)650-7619.

Education Savings Account
Education Freedom Scholarship
St. Jude School is proud to be a vendor of the Tennessee Education Savings Account Program (ESA) and the Tennessee Education Freedom Scholarship (EFS). Different than our Tuition Assistance Program, the ESA and EFS allows eligible families the opportunity to apply for scholarships for educational expenses including tuition. Once accepted, families will be able to receive the designated scholarship amount so long as their eligibility does not change.
These are third party program that is offered through the state, not the school. Interested families need to apply through the resources listed below. Our dedicated team is here to help accepted families through the finalization process. If applicable, please note that your tuition assistance awarded by the Chattanooga Deanery Tuition Fund will be adjusted based on your ESA or EFS scholarship award, if you receive both.
REGARDING THE EDUCATION FREEDOM SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM:
The Educational Freedom Scholarship Program (EFS) allows students who are entitled to attend public K-12 schools in Tennessee to use state funds toward approved non-public schools. These funds can be used toward tuition and certain fees. You can learn more about this program here.
The award amount for the 2026-2027 school year is $7,530.
Students are verified for the EFS program on an individual basis. As a result, students who receive EFS do not qualify for a multi-student family discount. The EFS award takes precedent over tuition assistance awarded by the Chattanooga Deanery Catholic Schools Fund and parish assistance.
