Creative and Expressive Arts
At St. Jude School visual arts and music are taught as part of the regular curriculum through the 5th grade. Art and Music are incorporated in the cross curriculum studies of the Middle School through special activities including Museum days, drama and plays, Living Stations, etc.
Weekly band classes are held for any interested students, beginning in the 5th grade. Our beginner and advanced bands have opportunities for performance that include school pep rallies, Christmas and Spring concerts at Notre Dame High School, and other special events. Many of our band students go on to perform in their high school and even college bands.
